Inside the virtual Ellinogermaniki Agogi school, there are several interactive 3D classrooms, with different themes like music, classical classroom with cross interactive reality tools synchronized with the web, and a virtual place for teacher in order to learn and apply the last scenario for multigrade classroom's organization.

Cross interactive reality classroom

This specific scenario aims to the use of advanced communication channels in order to provide a high quality continuous training program to
multigrade schoolteachers. Multigrade classrooms play an important role in providing access to education for people in remote, isolated and
underdeveloped rural areas. Multigrade schools are more than a reality in
primary education in many regions of Europe and the rest of the world,
constituting a very common educational form in problematic rural areas,
sparsely inhabited regions and urban areas with adverse social conditions. In such areas, multigrade schools not only aim to encourage enrollment and continuous attendance in school environments, but also to provide knowledge and pedagogy of good standards and in addition to play a wider role in social development. The unfortunate reality is though, that these schools form the most neglected part of the education system. Due to the geographical oddities, the socio-economic peculiarities and the lack of adequate school infrastructure and personnel, these schools still remain at the education’s world cut off.

This virtual 3D place offers for example to the teacher different elements for building and organizing the classroom, followed and assisted by a trainer, being connected live with all participants by voice or video conferencing system.

Set up for furnitures and book

There are different design scenarios well described and illustrated in a handbook in order to organize training and evaluation of all kind of processes. Other furniture can be added in order to complete the needs of different areas.

Delivery box
Delivery box for table

The delivery box permits to all participants to take furniture and reorder it inside the classroom.
This system needs only one click to transfer the furniture. Different type of furniture can be used, round table, shelves for building library, school table and chairs, computer, screen and all other accessories needed for the training. The Teacher can move all the furniture inside the room, organize it, discuss about setting choice and strategy corresponding to specific needs or elements they use currently in real, under the supervision of the trainer.

All teachers can use an interactive handbook, or download it from the web in order to have all the description, design and processes for organizing classroom with different scenarios. During the session the teacher can accede to illustrations, drawings, and explanation about how to organize multigrade classroom.

Screen for multimedia

The trainer of a session, in front of his laptop from any location wherever he wants, can use a voice system with headset, live video conferencing with webcam, slide show presentation or simple text system, in order to interact, follow, answer, and guide all the participants and organize Q&A sessions.

Colin Valon, Lorens Beyeler and Raphael Pedroli at Jazzbaragge

Par Sweetpea shilova le Mar 11, 2010 | Dans Jazzbaragge, DBC Records | RÈagir »

A different approach to the Jazz last night thanks to Colin Valon at the Rhodes, Lorens Beyeler in the bass and Raphael Pedroli on drums. A haunting music that drew us into sweet dreams. And we ended the evening with a parade of musicians to believe that the whole Club went on stage last night.
