My abstract painting clearly originates from Expressionism. It is an integration of conscious and unconscious, and it gives back a balance of plastic colourful values meanwhile conveying psychological, emotional and spiritual impulses. I tend to incorporate imprints, drawings and gestures of humankind in my painting. Then, I go beyond, towards the interpretation of reality itself.
Conceptual and performance
I am engaged in an artistic communication which is undoubtedly ideological and political. I highlight problems of our age (Provincialism, Mafia, Populism and Anti-Modernism.) Furthermore, I give voice to the discomfort and anxiety of a society which changes too quickly the way of being, feeling and behaving. I bring to light personal and human weaknesses. Everything is melted, and emerges in a new light, which is a conceptual and emotional filter between me and the rest of the world. I am seeking a different, more critical and deeper understanding of reality.
